Michole Council, owner and lead planner of Ivy League Affairs, is a lover of all things weddings with a passion for planning. A true southern belle with chic ideas she realized that she had found her true calling as a wedding and event planner after she rescued the events of several friends. Having been a bride herself, she understands the frustration of having to coordinate a dream wedding with limited resources. This inspired her to begin helping other couples to achieve their dream.
Her many years as an educator has taught her to be patient, to be persistent, to be poised and to be prepared. Her attention to detail, level of commitment and her passion for delivery of new concepts has allowed her to grow who she is and what she does. Michole, a Professional Wedding Planner, as designated by ABC, is a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants.
She currently serves as a board member and the Membership Liaison for the association where she works to communicate and connect members throughout the association. Michole is a wish granter and has served as the vice president of the North Carolina Chapter of Wish Upon A Wedding as well. She is also a Travel Planner and a Certified Sandals/Beaches Resort Specialist.
Life as a Planner has afforded me opportunities to meet and work with some of the best leaders in the event industry. Some of our amazing clients have become family and Team Ivy League continues to grow with every new opportunity.
